empowering children with disabilities

The Social Diversity for Children Foundation (SDC) strives to equip the world’s future leaders with skills to engage in essential dialogue and to act as agents of change in their local communities by empowering children with disabilities through the education of younger generations about inclusivity and acceptance. Each year, a gala is held to celebrate SDC’s journey and achievements over the previous year. As well, this gala provides a stage for children of all abilities to share their stories, showcase their music and art from participation in SDC programs, and to inspire. The SDC Gala serves as meaningful event that “works towards creating a vision of a larger puzzle that incorporates all members of society and not just those that fit into an outdated mold.” (David Wang, President of SDC).

BakerWest and Brivia Group had an amalgamation of footage and imagery that they needed synchronized into a set of intro interview packages, needed in time for the 2022 SDC Gala. The goal of these interviews was to share the foundation’s mission with the gala attendees.

This project was unique in that Roguescots was not the principal videographer. Typically, Roguescots captures all associated footage for a project. In this case, Roguescots captured specific interviews and then incorporated footage and materials provided by the client. These sorts of amalgam pieces provide a proactive solution to a client’s specific requirements when time is of the essence.
