Win in Tryon!

Our feature film, The Founder Effect, was bestowed with the TRIFF Special Thank You Award at the Tryon International Film Festival in Tryon, North Carolina, over the weekend, where it screened for audiences on the 7th of October. Director Justin MacGregor, producer Kristopher MacGregor, and leading-man Rick Edwards were all on-hand to accept the award in-person. The screening marked the first time Rick Edwards had seen the film, and the occasion was made all the more special by the attendance of his daughter who lives in the area and was able to join in. The film was well received by the public and fellow filmmakers alike and we were all made to feel very welcome as only that ‘southern hospitality’ can deliver.
