Ovis Group brings to life ODYSSEY, a brand new vision for Saanich: an exciting new community comprising studios to 3 Bedroom+ townhomes homes to rent, including a vast number of commercial space providing ample amenities. Across from Tillicum Centre, off the Trans-Canada Highway and just minutes to Downtown Victoria.
Our videography captured the groundbreaking ceremony to set it in stone, celebrating Ovis Group’s second major Vancouver Island project as shovels hit the dirt. The project centres on the company’s three partners: Jacky Chan, Sébastien Leboeuf, and Sean Fox, as they speak about their development to the gathered audience, as well as a collective of community voices highlighting the importance of the building as it relates to the housing crisis. Two videos were composed, one a longer format showcasing multiple snippets from the various speeches of the proceedings, and a secondary shorter pieces that’s punchier and more pointed in its execution.
