water, water, (not) everywhere…

Brave Blue World is a documentary exploring exciting new technologies and innovations that have the potential to solve the world's water crisis. The film highlights scientific and technological advancements that have been taking place, often behind the scenes, to ensure the world's population has access to clean water and safe sanitation services, all the while protecting the environment. Narrated by actor Liam Neeson, Brave Blue World features scientists, engineers and activists from around the world, including Matt Damon, who co-founded global non-profit Water.org, and Jaden Smith, co-founder of non-profit 501CThree, which provides water filtration systems to communities in Flint, Michigan.

In collaboration with consulting producer, Farhan Umedaly, Roguescots provided additional footage support for the film’s Singapore production leg. Justin MacGregor served as a camera technician, operator, and advisor, helping to bring several sequences of the documentary to life while on the ground in South East Asia.

This collaboration marks another occasion where Roguescots’ expertise delivered uncompromising service, helping to bring an internationally recognized project to life. Brave Blue World had a successful festival tour around the globe, winning several awards along the way, including Best Documentary Feature (New York International Film Awards), Best of Show (Accolade Global Film Competition), Best Documentary (Gobal Shorts), Best of Show (IndieFEST Film Awards), and Outstanding Achievement in Documentary Work (Impact Docs Awards).
